RIPLE & EM-ONE To Provide Clean, Reliable Power to MedServe–LUTH Cancer Centre

RIPLE, has commissioned a landmark clean energy project at the MedServe LUTH Cancer Centre (MLCC), located within the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in Surulere, Lagos. Delivered in partnership with EM-ONE Energy Solutions, the project marks a significant milestone in RIPLE’s mission to lead Nigeria’s transition to sustainable, reliable energy.

The project will deliver stable power to one of Nigeria’s most critical oncology facilities to enhance the reliability of life-saving diagnostics and treatment services, reducing the vulnerability of critical medical equipment to the power fluctuations.

By displacing approximately 250,000 litres of diesel and avoiding up to 663 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, the project delivers meaningful environmental benefits while materially lowering the facility’s operating costs, freeing up resources that can be reinvested into patient care.

This is just the beginning; the model developed at MLCC is designed to be replicated across 12 additional MedServe-owned diagnostic and oncology centres across Nigeria. RIPLE has structured the project under an Energy-as-a-Service framework, meaning healthcare facilities receive clean, reliable power with no upfront capital required. This removes the single biggest barrier to clean energy adoption in Nigeria’s healthcare sector, and positions RIPLE as the engine of that transformation.
